Full Description
A Roman field system composed of ditches, gullies and linear features was identified during an excavation carried out at Church Lane, Sholden between 2014-2018. Some of the linear features were interpreted (1) as potentially representing the outer most features of the field system associated with the Hull Place villa estate (TR 35 SE 4) to the north west.
