Stranded (1)

Dec.5, 1627: Commissioners of the Navy to the same {Nicholas]. The ANNE, of Woodbridge, sent to Shoreham with provisions, went ashore at Margate. Sir John Hippisley took away her best anchor and cable "as a fee for the ship's casting away"; pray for a warrant for their restoration, the ship being in the King's service. (2)
