15-FEB-1625: Three ships are wrecked in the Downs. (2)

19?-FEB-1625: Buckingham to Sir John Hippisley. Requests him to look after certain vessels stranded in the late storm and take care that they are not plundered by the inhabitants. (3)

28-FEB-1625: Wrecks have been numerous, but the goods are raked aboard the King's ship by Sir Richd. Bingley, who sells them there. (4)

08-MAR-1625: Sir John Hippisley to Buckingham. The former bill of lading was for...a wrong vessel. This one lies at Deal and can be got to shore for 100l, and payment to the savers, and is worth 100,000l. Sir Richd. Bingley no longer claims the quarter of it. (5)

Apparently the third of three ships `wrecked in the Downs' around this time, and appearing as an unidentified vessel with a reporting date of 21-FEB-1625, and also as part of a composite entry for the three vessels as reported on 15-FEB-1625, in two separate entries in Kent Downs (BE).

The date of loss is expressed as 1625 (New Style) only, since it is thus expressed in the original sources.
