Full Description

`On Friday morning a most violent gale of wind at about S was experienced. The following accounts are received of its effects on the coast. The KINGSTON, Warden, from London to Jamaica, was driven on shore on Sandwich Flats. Cargo will be sold.' (1)

Wind conditions at Deal on the 15th and 16th given as SW. (1)

`The KINGSTON, Warden, from London to Jamaica, which was driven on shore on Sandwich Flats 15th instant, has been got off, and put into Ramsgate Harbour.' (3)
