Summary

Two possible Second World War buildings located on the edge of Allhallows-on-Sea mid-way between and possibly associated with the sites of a Heavy Anti Aircraft (HAA) and Battery at Allhallows and a Light Anti Aircraft (LAA) Battery in the Allhallows Marshes. These sites were mapped from 1945 and 1946 RAF aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.

Full Description

Two possible Second World War buildings located at TQ 8437 7825 on the edge of Allhallows-on-Sea mid-way between and possibly associated with the sites of a Heavy Anti Aircraft (HAA)Battery at Allhallows (NMR Monument No: 1478206) and a Light Anti Aircraft (LAA) Battery in the Allhallows Marshes (NMR Monument No: 1478322). These sites have now been demoshed or removed, but were mapped from 1945 and 1946 RAF aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. (1)
