Full Description

'The PEGGY, White, from London to Portsmouth, with flour, was drove on shore at Dunchurch [sic], by two Dutch privateers, and it is feared will be lost.' (1)

'Dunchurch' has been identified as Dymchurch in the context of the voyage; the only Dunchurch in England is an inland village.
