Full Description
TQ 7575 7141. A Second World War military installation, comprising at least three temporary military support buildings and two possible gun emplacements or weapons pits, has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. This installation may be associated with a military camp which lies about 100m to the north. The installation is located on the southern part of Hoo Common, overlooking Upnor and the Medway. (1-3)
