Full Description
TQ 7587 7145. Two Second World War gun emplacements or weapons pits, visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s, have been mapped as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. The features are located on Hoo Common, adjacent to the eastern side of the Beacon Hill First World War anti aircraft battery and about 85m from a Second World War military camp. (1-3)
