Summary

The possible remains of a early 20th century sheep wash can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 1946. This structure was situated on Cooling Marshes immediately north of the Radio Station (NMR 1539001). It is not depicted on the 1909 Ordnance Survey map. This structure, which has since been demolished, was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.

The possible remains of a early 20th century sheep wash can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 1946. This structure was situated on Cooling Marshes immediately north of the Radio Station (NMR 1539001) and centred on TQ 7731 7681. It is not depicted on the 1909 Ordnance Survey map. This structure, which has since been demolished, was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.(1-3)
