Full Description

The remains of at least three building platforms were noted. They are arranged in a linear fashion, each separated by a distance of 4 metres. These were defined by narrow ditches, 0.5 metres wide and up to 0.2 metres deep, with concrete bases. Two of the presumed building foundations are L-shaped in outline, 9 metres in length to a maximum width of 6 metres whilst the third was rectangular , 6 metres by 5 metres in area. Buildings are shown here on aerial photographs from the late 1940s and 1950s in an area with active coastal erosion, and the trenches probably relate to deliberatly demolished structures. (1)
