Pond, visible on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps. Recorded during 2024 Kent Downs National Landscape Historic Ponds project.
Preservation: Pond on historic maps but not visible on current OS (ghost pond)
Pond shape: Irregular
Site type: Spring-fed pond
Description: Pond in the corner of a field, next to a track which leads to a limekiln on the 1st edition OS. Opposite Yorkshill Farm. Seen on 1st an 2nd edition OS, but modern aerial photography shows this pond no longer exists - unless it's seasonal.
