Pond, visible on the Heritage Tithe Map and 1st and 2nd edition OS maps. Recorded during 2024 Kent Downs National Landscape Historic Ponds project.
Preservation: Part of pond clearly visible on current OS/LIDAR
Pond shape: Kidney/half-moon
Site type: Dew pond (or sole pond)
Description: Half moon shaped pond seen from 1st edition OS at 490m2. Now only partly in existence at a much smaller 115m2 at the end of someone's garden. Also seen on 1m Lidar.
