Pond, visible on the Heritage Tithe Maps and the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps. Recorded during 2024 Kent Downs National Landscape Historic Ponds project.
Preservation: Whole pond clearly visible on current OS/LIDAR

Description: One of a significant series of ponds at the farmstead. Great Dowles Farm. This pond appears on the 1st and 2nd Ed OS and now LIDAR shows a deep excavation with a channel running to the West - which was not visible on the maps.
