Dew pond (or sole pond), visible on the 1st edition OS map. Recorded during 2024 Kent Downs National Landscape Historic Ponds project.
Preservation: Pond on historic maps but not visible on current OS (ghost pond)

Site type: Dew pond (or sole pond)
Description: Small oval pond, one of a series close to Great Dowles Farmstead and House. Now appears to be in rough grassland with potential for restoration.
