Dew pond (or sole pond), visible on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps. Recorded during 2024 Kent Downs National Landscape Historic Ponds project.
Preservation: Pond on historic maps but not visible on current OS (ghost pond)

Site type: Dew pond (or sole pond)
Description: Irregular shaped pond next to a farmstead, west of Winkhurst Green. This pond seems to have disappeared in favour of a much larger one behind it. This one seen on 1st and 2nd edition OS.
