Fish pond, visible on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps. Recorded during 2024 Kent Downs National Landscape Historic Ponds project.
Preservation: Whole pond clearly visible on current OS/LIDAR

Site type: Fish pond / Moat
Description: Moat and fish ponds associated with Henden Manor. Seen from 1st edition OS. HER record says: Three sides of the moat survive; the S.E. is water-filled and the N.W. and N.E. are dry; the coarse of the fourth side, on the S.W. is marked by a ditch of the ornamental pond. Beyond the N.W. arm are two well preserved rectangular fishponds, one dry, the other marshy.
