Historic pond, visible on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps. Recorded during 2024 Kent Downs National Landscape Historic Ponds project.
Preservation: Whole pond clearly visible on current OS/LIDAR
Pond shape: Irregular
Site type: Unknown
Description: Roughly triangular excavation on LIDAR. Visible on 1st and 2nd Ed OS - originally bean-shaped. Opposite Waltham Court workhouse. Now appears obscured by trees on aerial - in private garden. Shown on current OS so presumably still holding some water.
