Summary

Site of a Second World War heavy anti aircraft battery at All Hallows. It was armed with four 3.7-inch static guns in May 1942, and four 3-inch guns in June 1942. It was manned by 413 Battery of the 85th Royal Artillery Regiment in 1942. It was retained as an Off-Site Nucleus Force Battery in 1946.
