Full Description
A sub-rectangular enclosure is partly visible as cropmarks on air photographs taken July 16th 2001. The cropmarks appear to represent the southern end of a rectangular enclosure aligned roughly ne-sw. The eastern side is visible running ne-sw for circa 38 metres, before curving round circa 90 degrees to the west. This southernmost side is circa 40 metres long, with a clear entrance circa 3 metres wide towards its western end. At that western end, the ditch curves northwards, petering out after circa 13 metres. There seems to be no reason why the northern part of the enclosure ditch should not show as cropmarks, so it is presumed that the ditch did not continue any further to the north than is visible on the extant APs.
