Full Description

Faint cropmark of a possible incomplete ring ditch 26m in diameter, possibly the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow visible as a cropmark in playing fields visible on aerial photographs. The south-western half is not visible and there is a possibility this is associated with the playing fields and not an archaeological site. The playing fields have been incorporated into a school and housing now, but the location of the site is still partially within the playing fields. This site was mapped as part of the Historic England: Ramsgate HAZ project. (1-2)
