Full Description

Two large circular ring ditches both 28m in diameter visible as a cropmarks at TR 3792 6664 and TR 3790 6672, possibly modern in origin visible on aerial photographs. Both appear very regular and have exactly the same diameter measurement suggesting they are less likely to be the remains of Bronze Age round barrows, rather a modern feature, possibly relating to a sports field. Both have been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the Historic England: Ramsgate HAZ project. A nearby NRHE record 469003 refers to 'Circular cropmark modern' which may be describing the same sites. (1)
