Full Description
General location of the site of a First World War heavy anti aircraft battery at Tile Barn Farm which was armed with one 3-inch 20-hundredweight gun in 1917. (1)
The general location reported for the anti aircraft battery falls within the area mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. No features associated with an anti aircraft battery of that date were identified in the vicinity during that survey. (2)
