Full Description
A fragment of 9th century Saxon cross-shaft was discovered on a rockery at 150, Old Dover Road in 1951, and presented to Canterbury Cathedral in 1950. It is part of a drum of circular section dressed flat above, below, and to each side. Two sides are carved, one with two apostles or prophets, the other with 2-strand guilloche.
