Summary

Site of a Second World War Diver Battery in the Kentish Gun Belt at Little Bayhall, Tunbridge Wells. It was armed with eight mobile 3.7-inch guns, and manned by B Battery of the 1st Royal Marine Regiment of the 40th Anti Aircraft Brigade. It was initially equipped with Predictor AA No.10 and No.3 Mark V radar. This was part of the second reinforcement of the Kentish Gun Belt of 96 guns deployed at twelve sites by June 27th 1944.
