Having struck a mine, was successfuly beached at Shingles Patch, where she became a total wreck. The cargo carried included 5,750 tons of general cargo including butyl-acetate, machinery parts, paraffin wax, ethylene glycol, plus 200 tons of antimony ore and 331 tons of rubber.
