Site of one of thirteen additional intermediate light anti aircraft (Diver) batteries established at Hinxhill on 27th June 1944 in the 102 Anti Aircraft Brigade area. It was equipped with four 40mm guns, Predictor AA No.3 Mark II, Predictor AA 40mm No.1 Mark I, and Radar AA No.3 Mark II radars, and was manned by 465 Battery of the 142 Anti Aircraft Regiment.
