Full Description

Vertical Datum: LAT Built: West Hartlepool Year Built: 1905 Sank following collision with Dutch SS MIDSLAND about 3 miles SE of Dungeness. Was at anchor in thick fog when collision occurred. Had seven names during working life, was built in West Hartlepool in 1905 as the HARMONIC. EASTBURY was 5th name - assumed in 1927. 14-JUN-1940 Position, 140 deg 2.5M from Dungeness High Light. 16-NOV-1961 Least depth 74 in 127ft. 10-MAR-1976 Large wreck reported 03-AUG-1977 in 50 52 36N, 001 02 41E, Depth 23.9 in general depth 32-34m. Scour 38m. Height 12.7m, Length 100 Lying 030/210 deg. 09-SEP-1982 Dived on recently. Bell found with name EASTBURY.
