Maritime record TR 01 NE 169 - Gwendoline
Summary
The partially disintegrating remains of what appears to be a probably post-medieval maritime vessel are visible on vertical and oblique aerial photographs of 1941 as a structure between Dungeness and the Dengemarsh Gut Shafts. It was originally recorded at this location in 1929. By the time of the vertical aerial photographs of 1973 no remains of the vessel were visible. The extent of this feature has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East RCZAS NMP project.
