Site of a Second World War heavy anti aircraft (Diver) Battery in the Diver Box at Parks Woods, Wigmore. It was armed with two 3.7-inch Mark IIc guns, and was occupied from July 26th 1944. It was manned by the 1st Fort Regiment. On 22nd September it was equipped with Mark VII Predictor, and LW Radar. It formed part of 28 Anti Aircraft Artillery Brigade.
