Site of a Second World War heavy anti aircraft (Diver) Battery in the Diver Box north of Fletcher Battery, Eastchurch. It was armed with eight 3.7-inch Mark IIc guns, and was occupied from July 26th 1944, when it was manned by 599 Battery of 176 Anti Aircraft Artillery Regiment. It formed part of 28 Anti Aircraft Artillery Brigade.
