Full Description

Vertical Datum: LAT Depth charged and sunk by HM drifters OUR FRIEND and MARY. 05-APR-1971 Wreck, confirmed by divers as that of a submarine, located in 50 57 51N, 001 21 45E length about 120ft and standing 25ft clear of seabed. Foul at 74ft. 10-JUL-1985 in 50 57 49N, 001 21 44E. Depth 24.7 in 28.3m, scour depth 29.3m, height 5.1m, length 40m, lying 010/190 deg. 02-APR-1986 Depth 23.6 general depth 28m, scour 28.6m. 28-JUN-1988 Depth 24.1 in general depth 28.2m. scour 0.5m deep, height 4.9m. 17-SEP-1988 Intact, lying 045/225 deg apparently on its side in a very shallow scour, length 86m, a sand ridge has built up east of wreck, no mast or other projection observed.
