Full Description

Hexagonal pillbox with 7 embrasures. Brick-shuttered (yellow stock bricks). Entrance has been bricked up. A wind sock for the adjacent landing strip has been affixed to the pillbox. Irregular hexagon, sandstone and brick shuttered concrete pillbox - faces S. 7 x precast embrasures (2 covering entrance). 1 ft wide concrete ledge around external perimeter. In fair condition, with some bricks deteriorating. Entrance bricked up. At air landing strip on Thaxted Farm, SW of Edenbridge. (1)
