First seen on RAF aerial photographs taken in 1947, and still visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1953. This is one of 5 probable bomb craters extending in an east-west line, probably part of the same bombing raid. These were mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.

A Second World War bomb crater visible as an earthwork at TQ 7172 7545 within a large low-lying field. First seen on RAF aerial photographs taken in 1947, and still visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1953. This is one of 5 probable bomb craters extending in an east-west line, probably part of the same bombing raid. These were mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. (1)
