Summary
A possible Second World War bomb crater visible as an earthwork at at the edge a large low-lying field, causing a localised enlargement of the field drain. First seen on RAF aerial photographs taken in 1947, and still visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1953. This is one of 5 probable bomb craters extending in an east-west line, probably part of the same bombing raid. These were mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.

First seen on RAF aerial photographs taken in 1947, and still visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1953. This is one of 5 probable bomb craters extending in an east-west line, probably part of the same bombing raid.
