Full Description

Vertical Datum: LAT Mined. (2). Was on passage Halifax, Nova Scotia, to London. 7 fathoms over wreck, 1.5 miles west from Folkestone Gate. 20-JUL-1959 Located in position 51 01 48N, 001 12 12E. 02-MAR-1961 Least depth 43ft in general depth 71ft scour 2ft. 26-JUN-1963 Dispersal contract placed. 15-fEB-1964 Dispersed to least depth 47ft 19-OCT-1977 in 51 01 47N, 001 12 18E Depth 15.3 in general depth 22.5m, no scour, height 7m, length 100m. Complete wreck, probably upright, lying 030/210 deg. 28-AUG-1987 Lying upright with damage to port side, 4 holds - 2 forward and 2 aft of centre "castle". Packing cases found in forward 2.
