Full Description

Vertical Datum: LAT Hired for Admiralty service. Mined. (2). Wreck, depth 12 fathoms. Possibly the FALMOUTH III. 25-OCT-1977 Wreck examined in 51 02 38N, 001 19 01E, Depth 19.8 in general depth 25m, scour depth 28m, height 5.7m, length 42m. lies 160/340 deg. Charted as wreck 19m. 15-FEB-1979 Located depth 18.4 in general depth 24m, scour 1.5m deep, height 6.5m, length 75m. Lies 164/344 deg with bow south. Charted as wreck 17.5m. 09-AUG-1983 Well broken-up steamship, much of which is level with seabed. Boiler and some of the port side still stand about 5m high. Despite its poor state, it looks unlikely to have been a trawler.
