Summary
The earthworks of a possible post medieval drain can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 1947. This drain is situated on Buckland Marshes. The drain was disused in 1947 and is not marked on the 1894 Ordnance Survey map. It represents an earlier subdivision of the marshes and has since been levelled. This site was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.

The earthworks of a possible post medieval drain can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 1947. This drain is situated on Buckland Marshes at TQ 7718 7753. The drain was disused in 1947 and is not marked on the 1894 Ordnance Survey map. It represents an earlier subdivision of the marshes and has since been levelled. This site was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.(1-2)
