Full Description
A cluster of Second World War dragon's teeth concrete anti-invasion obstructions positioned on the earthen sea wall at TQ 8552 7834 on the west bank at the mouth of the Yantlet Creek. The obstrucions are situated close to the end of the wartime (now removed) minefield - NMR Monument: 1536338- which extended from Allhallows to the Yantlet Creek. These various obsructions formed part of the coastal 'crust' of anti-invasion defences on the north coast of the Hoo Peninsula.
These features were mapped from 1946 aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. (1-2)
