Summary
The earthwork of a possible Second World War bomb crater can be seen on an aerial photograph taken in 1947. This crater, since levelled, was situated on Wells's Marshes, east of the Admiralty fuel oil station (NMR 1540697). It was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.

The earthwork of a possible Second World War bomb crater can be seen on an aerial photograph taken in 1947. This crater, since levelled, was situated on Wells's Marshes, east of the Admiralty fuel oil station (NMR 1540697) at TQ 8732 7415. It was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.(1-2)
