Concrete pillbox in very overgrown location on an island site, surrounded by River Medway, ditch and stream [local farmer informed recorder of its situation: impossible to approach it, and should consequently be in good condition?].
Type 24 pillbox, wood-shuttered, on W side of River Medway, with field of fire E across river to road/rail bridge. Brick-skinned interior.
