Summary
Second World War reinforced concrete non-hexagonal pillbox. Samphire Hoe Country Park South-East of West Hougham. A pillbox was recorded on Samphire Hoe (NMR: 1534536) as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2), but it was not possible to tell which pillbox it was. The defnece of Britain project recorded two pillboxes on Samphire Hoe.

Non-hexagonal pillbox .Pillbox (Sector 5). Cassini ref 731578On the coast, at Samphire Hoe Country Park SE of West Hougham. (1)
A pillbox was recorded on Samphire Hoe (NMR: 1534536) as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2), but it was not possible to tell which pillbox it was. The Defence of Britain project recorded two pillboxes on Samphire Hoe (9195 and 9196) (2).
