Full Description

Vertical Datum: LAT Sunk by mines from HMS LANDRAIL. 22 Lives lost, no survivors. but also stated to have been sunk by HMS ARIEL near Bishop's Rock. 25-JUL-1972 Wreck clear at 105ft, length 55m lies N/S. 26-MAR-1978 In general depth 38m. lies 025/205deg. Length 57m. 06-NOV-1981 Shown as wreck 32.6m. 10-FEB-1983 Shown as wreck 32.9m in general depth 36m. 22-SEP-1988 This could be the wreck of UB 29, German submarine. 24-MAY-1989 in 51 09 12.5N, 001 43 19E. Depth 33.0 in general depth 36.5m. No scour, height 4.3m, length 63m, width 8.5m. Wreck is a submarine, upright with mast on conning tower and deck gun.
