Full Description
ESMSMR takes details from 1992 version of Hydrographic Office Wreck Register (013703328). 1931 LA SOMME reported to be in the same position 1955 More accurate positions obtained for the wrecks of WELSH BELLE and LA SOMME but they have not been identified further. Sand seabed. Length 290 ft, 50 ft high orientated NE-SW. 1961 swept to 60 ft. Wreck could be LA SOMME (ESMSMR 1024) or AUSTRALIER (ESMSMR 1022). 1975 Swept to 20.4m. Scour depth 4m. Seabed rough.
