Monument record TR 03 NE 280 - Post-medieval quarry, Quarry Wood, Aldington

The site of a post-medieval quarry at Quarry Wood, Aldington. This site is visible on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th OS maps. Part of the site was excavated in 2015 during an evaluation carried out ahead of proposed residential development. The site of a limekiln is visible to the south west (TR 03 NE 257). (1, 2, 3, 4, 5)
