Full Description
'Feb. 25. Deal. Richard Watts to Williamson. Yesterday were about 120 small and great vessels in the Downs. The wind began to tiffle at N.E. and the small vessels weighed and sailed. But, the wind of a sudden increasing, a small vessel in ballast bound for Seville ran ashore near Walmer Castle and was suddenly staved to pieces on the beach. The seamen were saved.' (1)
