Full Description
Cropmarks of a pit alignment of uncertain date visible on aerial photographs. The alignment was is centred at TR 3553 6738 and extends over 200m N-S between Manston Court Road and Coldswood Farm. The central portion comprises 12 regularly spaced pits about 6m apart. Futher outlying pits are visible to the north and south where the cropmarks are harder to discern. The pits and surrounding archaeology were all mapped as part of the Historic England: Ramsgate HAZ project. (1)
