Full Description

Cropmark of a large circular quarry pit of uncertain date with a diameter of 23m located at TR 3522 6756. Faint cropmark traces of a linear ditch can be seen at the western edge which is possibly part of an enclosure (NRHE 468995), a second more complete example recorded to the immediate west of this. This was visible on aerial photographs and mapped as part of the Historic England Ramsgate HAZ survey.(1)
