Monument record TQ 64 NW 362 - Historic pond, near Golden Green, Hadlow

A historic pond is visible on the Heritage Tithe Map, and the 1st-4th edition OS maps near Golden Green, Hadlow. The pond was restored in c. 2025, and it was found to be infilled with a deposit containing a large quantity of jam jars. These were determined to have originated from the nearby Mid Kent Jam Factory (TQ 64 NW 360), and were presumably dumped as a refuse deposit from the factory. (1-6)
