Building record TQ 73 NE 397 - Steddenden Barn, Hazelden Farm

Steddenden Barn was constructed during the late 18th or early 19th century at Hazelden Farm. The barn is a three-bay structure with a central threshing floor. Each building had a different function. Building 1 was used to accommodate stock, Building 2 was built as part of a courtyard and may have been used for livestock provision, and Building 3 was built as an open-fronted shelter shed. The building underwent minor alterations during the 19th century 20th centuries when interior divisions were added to the structure. (1)
