Full Description
TQ 7879 7277. A single field of ridge and furrow, located to the east of Hoo St Werburgh and possibly of Medieval date, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and has been mapped as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. The ridges appear to underly earthworks belonging to Medieval or Post Medieval orchard or field boundaries, or plough headlands and a ditch, recorded as Monument 1548388. (1-3)
